Within a week, KHEA’s new single “Ayer Me Llamó Mi Ex” [feat. Lenny Santos] entered Spotify’s Global Top 50 chart. Climbing the charts on multiple platforms, the song has achieved unprecedented success around the world peaking at #6 on Argentina’s Billboard Chart. On Spotify, it captured #1 in Spain, #2 in Argentina and Uruguay, and went Top 20 in Costa Rica, Chile, and Bolivia. It has already accumulated over 14 million streams and counting.

On Apple Music, it reached #2 in Spain and Argentina and broke into the Top 20 in Paraguay, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Peru, and Chile. Impressively, it moved into the #1 spot on Deezer in Spain, Argentina, and Costa Rica, #2 in Chile and Peru, and #5 in Ecuador and Honduras as well as Top 20 in Bolivia, Mexico, El Salvador, Paraguay, and Venezuela.

Not to mention, the explosive music video racked up nearly 24 million views on YouTube. Since its release last week, it has held the #1 spot on YouTube’s Music Chart in Argentina and Spain.

For “Ayer Me Llamó Mi Ex,” the Argentinian force of nature aimed to lay a bachata groove on top of a trap beat—so he connected with legendary bachata guitarist Lenny Santos [Aventura]. The icon notably adds sizzling bachata flavor with swaggering guitar. KHEA also enlisted the production talents of buzzing prodigious Colombian producer, artist, and labelmate NOBEAT. A tropical beat cruises through lush keys and riffs as KHEA deftly raps the verses until sliding right into a chantable hook. Glowing with breakup vibes, he flexes his vocals over rich sonics as he details the return of an old flame on “Ayer Me Llamó Mi Ex” — which translates to “Yesterday my ex called me.”

KHEA continues to pop up everywhere. Just last month, he joined forces with fellow Argentinian star TINI for “Ella Dice.” It peaked at #1 on YouTube for a day and held #1 for three weeks in Argentina. It has already generated nearly 15 million Spotify streams, while the sexy music video cracked 35 million YouTube views. Billboard recently showcased it on First Stream Latin and wrote, “TINI and KHEA, two of Argentina’s hottest artists of the moment, have joined forces for ‘Ella Dice,’ a flirty pop-reggaeton that perfectly spotlights their musical chemistry.” Additionally, he joined forces with pop juggernaut OneRepublic for a very special remix of "Better Days" just a few months back.

Indicative of his versatility, he collaborated with blackbear on the official remix of “hot girl bummer.” In 2020, he inked a deal with Interscope Records and joined the management roster of Electric Feel as the company’s first Latin act, in partnership with manager Austin Barmak.
